Victory exists only in totality

When we choose Eisenhowers over Pattons, we get men willing to stop before victory.

We must learn again to follow winners. But winners do things differently, way differently; they make people uncomfortable. Winners often lack the comforting sentiments that lesser men possess. And I do mean lesser, for there is no greater earthly honor than to possess the wherewithal and resolve for goodness to win. Lesser men, like accidental charlatans, use false sensibility to trick the masses.

The truth is that the highest axiom of sensibility is to muster what is needed for goodness to win. All other sensibilities are frills and garnishes. Our tendency to place these attributes out of their proper order is partially due to the fact that we rightly see the importance for our leaders to have the complete toolset of positive human qualities. The mis-prioritization of these qualities causes us to promote lesser leaders. And while our insufficient collective wisdom might yield short-term comforts, in time, it rends the events that cost the blood of our treasure.

Instead of supporting winners with people who can pick up the slack in areas they lack maturity, we dump them altogether. In their place, we promote nice guys who we see as safe and sensible, men who won't, no, can't rock the boat. But men who can't rock boats won't sink ships. And knowing that every civilization eventually faces an armada, our validation of these lesser men leaves the defeat of goodness firmly at our feet. In the coming winter storm of history's ever-repeating battle against evil, these lesser men are themselves assured defeat.

WWII should have ended with the destruction of Stalin and the CCCP. Yet we promoted then followed Eisenhower and Truman when we should have listened to Patton and Churchill and finished the fight with a march on Moscow. When the day is long, the voice that says rest is indeed seductive. But just because the dragon at the door is eating another doesn't mean it won't come for us. Why were the horrors of the holocaust fought for but the gulag swept under the rug? Never again? This rallying cry is on the Mount Rushmore of propaganda. This very phrase came at a time when such atrocities were still happening. But we the people fell for the deception of bad actors and the foolish assurances of lesser men.

In our current fight for goodness, I pray that we the people will have the gall to march on Moscow even though many will yet again declare victory at the fall of Berlin. Victory is a word of totality. Those who become wiry can rest, but not from the front. At the front, we must ever and always have leaders who live to win. And we the people must ever and always answer their call at the ringing of the bell.

"They" "the system," "the sensible ones," "acidemia," "Hollywood" etc. etc. and maybe even your favorite conservative talking head will likely push us to settle for something less than winning.

It is up to us to call them to a higher standard. Thee only standard of goodness.

Victory.

My advice for those who settle: remember, you exist at the behest of winners. Fall in.

Hold Tension, Be Vast.
Remember, restoration alone brings victory.
