Better Ideas ONLY come from Better Thinking.
Better Thinking ONLY comes when great minds can, without fear or favor let the nuance of good faith discussions happen out in the open on the most unclean, canceled, and banned topics.
Such conversations are ONLY possible when great minds are willing to say the most obvious things that society has declared untouchable.
Listen, I love all the nerding out that happens on Nostr as much as the next guy, it is a great place for all that kind of stuff. But that could be done on any other social media platform without the slightest scorn of the digital overlords.
Nostr has collected many great minds, yet, sadly, it is VASTLY an echo chamber of autistic circle jerking. Do we really need a less technical Bitcoin GitHub? Sure… I guess… but not as much as we need a free speech platform where Big Brains are willing to tackle the Big Topics of our time.
We need good faith discussions on topics like:
The murderous depths of Fiat money and the Ruling elite who wield it as a weapon against the people.
Inner city violence and the rot of Black Culture.
Islam being anti-liberty in every way and destructive to the extent it is adhered to.
Women being asked to be like men in and out of the workplace and failing miserably at it.
The cornucopias of third world immigration and culture issues.
Rampant structural and corporate anti-white and anti-male sexism and racism.
Chemical / Medical / Pharmaceutical Oligarchies.
Tribal People / Noble Savage double-think.
Etc.
Oh, I’m sorry, are those topics for Alex Jones? When a societies intelligentsia allow selfish cowardice to surpass their royal calling to stand in the breach it is left to those like Alex Jones to pick up the slack. If you consider yourself smart and don’t like Alex Jones, go look above the bathroom sink for who is to blame. Thucydides will ever be correct, “The society that separates its scholars from its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting done by fools.” You have always been both a Thinker and a Warrior, answer the call, say yes to self, Be Vast, be both.
If any of the topics above triggered you, ask your self why. Is the science so settled? Is the consensus so pure? Can certain groups not be criticized? Are other groups only to be criticized? Is your testosterone that low? Ruling class got your tongue? Your mind? Your will? If topics like these trigger you, we can be sure about one thing, you most assuredly would NOT have been like Oskar Schindler. The brown shirt would not have been far from your reach. (love yourself enough to sit in this truth, stop running from it, own your choices, own what you have honed your character into, forgive yourself enough to change)
Our knee jerk reaction to being offended at a topic should be to lean in and engage more, be more open, be more curious… not run screeching… or what is more common, telling ourselves in foolish delusion that we are above that topic, we are too mature or too intellectual, sophisticated, cultured, educated, etc. We view ourselves as high and lofty, we are simply better than those commoners who think about such topics… We have other, more important things to do… bullshit… in such cases and in such times we are found wanting and weak. If that is you, your pride will continue to tell you such priorities are impressive, they are not. Chest your cards. Stay Humble. Stack SATs.
The most important resource of nations, communities, and families are High-T men. These men have always and will always broach ANY topic, especially those effecting and infecting our shared lives that the established powers deem taboo and unbecoming of polite society.
Oh you think these issues will just fix themselves? It’s for other people to figure out, right? Wrong! Listen, geniuses… no one likes talking about this shit. It’s a burden to everyone, but it must be done. Citizens have two charges:
Our true calling (this includes our passions, goals, mission, etc.)
Our duty to the needs and issues of our time.
As a founder proclaimed upon signing the Declaration of Independence, “We have this day restored the sovereign.” We the people are inately and inherently the sovereign. Abandoning our duty to the greater shared kingdom is just as significant a resignation of sovereignty as surrendering property, and privacy rights to the state. Great minds MUST wake up to this if our future is to be as bright as we hope it will be.
Let’s remember, the truth isn’t afraid of anything, it can handle all scrutiny. Truth being tested only results in its strengthening. ONLY. It does not matter if the people bringing up these banned topics are wrong. We the people are great at sifting through information when all sides are presented. If this were not the case we would have long ago devolved into extinction. The issue is when we only have access to the lies.
Nostr: Great minds… (check). Useful conversations… (few and far between). This is where the NOSTR community is failing.
Lesser people care only for their preferences.
The heart of the sovereign sets time away from their calling to address the issues that affect both themselves and everyone.
This is the chief difference between the West and less successful nations. The West has long understood the importance of the balance between an individual’s goals and mission and the royal spirit that champions their contribution to society.
When enough great minds abandon noble thinking, a society begins to fail.
The great minds that focus on their preferred work alone will always bend the knee to the great minds who live out their royal duty.
NOSTR WILL ONLY BE WIDELY ADOPTED IF IT IS KNOWN FOR BRAVERY ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE.
What is the value prop of Nostr? Risk? Groupthink? The masses will NEVER be attracted to an ultra-techy BTC Dev run-around app. Never ever, ever, ever, ever. So if you want Nostr to be for the masses… DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
The misaligned feminine often looks at issues like those listed at the top of the article as topics that are better left alone, hoping that they will work themselves out. This is the same energy that coddles a bratty child thinking appeasement will somehow render maturity. The more you provide space for bratty temper tantrums the more you will get bratty temper tantrums. If you really love those who are suffering in delusion, you will willingly and enthusiastically confront it, you will do your part to restore sound thinking.
Many who profess their belief in free speech are actually afraid of it, if they were honest with themselves they would admit they are afraid of what might happen if people start saying mean things… what about hate speech?? What about actual bad actors?? This type of thinking exposes a fundamental structural misunderstanding of the beauty of freedom. Freedom ALWAYS sorts itself out. Always. Any and all “growing pains” are a necessary part of the land healing. Freedom ALONE Works, there isn’t any other way, never has been, never will be. Our ire and wrath should lock-on everywhere we see the chains of our “betters.” And boy is it a target rich environment out there. Wherever you go, no chain should be safe. Again:
