A Guide to Getting Offended on this Site

Wisdom follows offense. Getting offended is a good thing. It’s the only way to get anywhere.

Under each worldview/belief structure, you will find links to posts that might quickly lead you to the great teacher, offense.

You may say… well I won’t get offended. Maybe. But you’d be the first. It’s a buffet out here, there is enough for everyone. If nothing offends you, that is certainly not a good thing. Such cases are likely due to that individual not having thought deeply about much at all. In every case I have seen, the lack of offense comes from apathy, not enlightenment. We are all incredibly unique, this uniqueness brings perspective and change… and change is hard. But hard is good. This post is dated 11/11, and its image is a dove. Peace only comes to those willing to do the hard work to stay in relationship with each other. We will only stay in relationship with one another when we intentionally approach the areas that most offend us. It is up to us to have the courage to face each other on the field of our differences and then go have a drink together.
